Texas (part 2)

Sorry for the long delay in posting the blog. It’s amazing that being retired with all of the extra time you have from NOT working, you’re always so busy!

Steve, Louise, and I did some sightseeing and had an awesome lunch in Galveston.

While I was visiting, Steve’s youngest son James married his beautiful girlfriend Anna.

I wish only happiness to the newlyweds. Isn’t young love awesome?

Erik, (Steve’s eldest son), Steve, and I, had an opportunity to go out shooting at a range that Erik belongs to. Sorry, no pictures, we had a great time.

I had the chance to tell some stories about the things Steve and I used to get in to, to both Erik and James. Sorry Steve. Definitely had quite a few laughs about that.

Steve and Louise will always hold a special place in my heart, I always enjoy our time together. There’s a lot to be said for a friendship that has lasted 50 years.

Backache?, Derby day, and moving on to New Mexico is next.
