Capitol Reef National Park

Don’t understand what happened, I wrote this post 2 weeks ago and thought I had posted it. Tried to edit and repost, to no avail.

A cool park that is mostly drivable.

There is the gnarliest tree ever

There is a 10 mile loop that leads to petroglyphs after another 2 mile hike.

We drove the loop, well Tom drove the loop, but it was 95 degrees outside and they don’t allow pets on the trails.

I saw this cool boulder alongside the road with L.G. Long 1886 carved into it.

Very picturesque and beautiful, especially because you’re right on the canyon floor and can actually touch the canyon walls.
